It's the successor of the legendary umaJack (seven years of duty!).
Madame Marquise de Pompadour (29 December 1721 - 15 April 1764) was a member of the French court and was the official chief mistress of Louis XV.
Madame de Pompadour was a woman of verve and intelligence. She was highly accomplished, with a good eye for Rococo interiors as well as architecture. She planned buildings like the Place de la Concorde and the Petit Trianon. Having been an acquaintance to Dom Perignon and fascinated by his newly invented "sparkling bubble wine", she became it's biggest promoter and introduced champagne to the French royal court.
It is believed that the "coupe de champagne" (French champagne glass) was modelled on the shape of her breast.
Now, centuries later, ASSOS pays homage to Marquise Pompadour, introducing NEW enhanced technology for the discerning female rider. The next level of total comfort in winter riding, the cutting edge of technology and style, the winter insulator jacket iJ.pompaDour.
